Peer-Review Policy
Review Procedures
ILN Journal: Indian Literary Narratives exclusively considers papers that are submitted through its official website. Manuscripts submitted via email or any other means are subject to rejection.
a. Acknowledgement
An automated submission acknowledgment is generated and delivered to the author upon submitting the manuscript through the website of the ILN Journal: Indian Literary Narratives.
b. Initial Review by Editor
The evaluation of all manuscripts submitted to the ILN Journal: Indian Literary Narratives is conducted by an editor in order to assess their scholarly quality and assure their compatibility with the journal's scope and publication ethics.
An assessment of the similarity rate is conducted utilizing Turnitin. Manuscripts that go beyond the scope of the journal or that involve plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, are not accepted.
c. Double Blind Peer Review
Once the editor is content with the manuscripts, they will subsequently forward them for a formal double blind peer-review process. In the event that the editor finds the submissions unsatisfactory, they may opt to reject them without undergoing an external blind review process. The author will be notified with the decisions regarding the selection of manuscripts for blind peer-review.
d. Final Decision
Based on the feedback provided by the reviewer, the editor reaches a judgment among four potential outcomes.
i. Submission accepted
ii. Submission accepted with minor revisions.
iii. Submission is requested for revision and re-submission.
iv. Submission rejected.
The ultimate decision on manuscripts rests with the editors.
e) Notification
